Nadi, Fiji – In a landmark step toward strengthening digital infrastructure across the Pacific, Telecom Fiji Limited (TFL), the Fiber Network Council Asia Pacific (FNCAP), and the Pacific Islands Telecommunications Association (PITA) proudly announce the inaugural Pacific Fiber Conference 2025, taking place on 13–14 August 2025 at the Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa, Denarau Island
This first-of-its-kind event is dedicated exclusively to fiber connectivity, digital infrastructure, and resilient network strategies in the Pacific Islands region. The conference is expected to draw more than 200 delegates from across Oceania and the globe, including telecom leaders, government representatives, data center operators, investors, and international technology providers.
“The Pacific is undergoing a strategic shift in how we think about connectivity—from undersea cables to last-mile inclusion. The time is now to unite and shape the future,” said Charles Goundar, CEO of Telecom Fiji Ltd. “At the heart of this transformation are themes critical to our region: fiber and satellite convergence, smart island solutions for remote service delivery, robust subsea and terrestrial cable strategies, and the integration of AI, 5G, cloud, and cybersecurity.
Beyond infrastructure, this is about empowering our people—technology is a tool for transformation. It enriches lives, connects communities, and opens up opportunities for education, healthcare, commerce, and innovation in even the most remote parts of our region. We’re proud to bring this conversation home to Fiji, alongside FNCAP and PITA.”

Conference delegate tickets and sponsorship packages are officially available. With high early interest from the industry, the organizing committee encourages participants to secure their seats and branding opportunities early.

“This conference is more than a gathering—it’s a catalyst for action,” said Frank Jaffer, Secretary of FNCAP. “It’s where Pacific stakeholders and global players will collaborate on secure, sustainable, and future-ready connectivity strategies.”
“We’ve already seen strong early interest from sponsors,” added Fred Christopher, Manager of PITA. “This is your opportunity to act now and gain visibility in a fast-growing, underserved digital market.”
